Welcome to Westville

Through July, the Friends of Edgewood Park Green Team work day will take place on Wednesdays at 9:30am.  Our plan is to weed and mulch at that bed and at the Gazebo Garden where we will plant six Montauk daisies (if Angel can get them). We will remove milkweed from that garden and save the very small plants to transplant in another location. Milkweed has a long tap root, so if you have a good weeding tool for that, please bring it with you on Wednesday.  If there’s time, we will move on to tidying up some of the caged fruit trees by the skate park and trim some knotweed. We also need to develop plans for watering, especially our new plants and transplants.
