Westville is home to to a large community of established and aspiring artists. With three artists' live/work complexes, five galleries and many artist studios as well as live/work spaces, Westville offers a community in which art and artists thrive. In addition, there are frequent art show openings and receptions as well as artists' talks. Check the calendar or sign up on the e-mail list for up-to-date information about these events.

Westville's reputation for the arts has also attracted many musicians to the neighborhood, in styles ranging from blues and jazz to ska and neoclassical.

The performing arts are also represented in Westville.

Southern Connecticut State University campus located next to Westville Village also offers many opportunities to enjoy the arts in Westville. Check the SCSU calendar for current events.

Galleries in Westville are located within walking distance of one another in Westville Village. Gallery hopping, especially during the frequently coordinated show openings & receptions, is a Westville tradition.
