Description:

Panel Discussion + Opening Reception for "Twenty Twenty" KLG’s annual juried show centers on the theme of “Twenty Twenty.” A panel discussion, presented by ArtEcon Initiative, around the exhibition’s theme @ 3pm will precede the opening reception. Panelists, and exhibiting artists, TBA. ABOUT THE EXHIBITION: 20|20 ... 2020 ... 20/20 .... What do these numbers/what does this number call to mind? Impeccable eyesight? Fully knowledgeable hindsight? A prophetic projection of foresight? Or a particular year in the near future that looms large in the mind’s eye? (Visual) Artists enable us to frame history with clarity and perception, to dream and conceptualize, to visualize futures, preparing us for what may come, or helping us manifest worlds we look to create. Kehler Liddell Gallery invited artists working in all media to share their vision – personal or political, practical or perplexing – offering the acuity of hindsight or the visionary audacity of farsightedness. Join us in discussion and celebration of this exhibition. ** The panel discussion is presented by ArtEcon Initiative and made possible with support from the Department of Economic and Community Development, CT Office of the Arts, which also receives support from the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency, and the Pincus Family Foundation.
