Join us for a free family-friendly birthday party honoring Donald Grant Mitchell’s Bicentennial Birthday on Monday, April 11 at 6pm at Westville’s Mitchell Library located at 37 Harrison Street, the the Westville section of New Haven! 

New Haven takes pride in celebrating one of her hometown sons, Donald Grant Mitchell. During his lifetime, Mitchell was a paradigm of the 19th century renaissance man. An influential landscape architect and best-selling writer, Mitchell’s legacy lives on through his designs for many of New Haven’s public parks, including East Rock and Edgewood Parks, and much more!
