The Westville Village Renaissance Alliance (WVRA) is a New Haven non-profit and designated Connecticut Main Street organization. The Westville Synagogue is a Modern Orthodox synagogue located in the heart of Westville, a couple of miles west of downtown New Haven and the Yale University. The atmosphere at the Westville Shul, as it is commonly referred to, is very warm and welcoming. Our rabbi, Rabbi Fred Hyman, is a graduate of Maimonides high school and Yeshiva University.
